( x + 3a ) ( x + 2b ) = 6 ab

=> x( x + 2b ) + 3a( x + 2b ) = 6ab

=> x( x ) + x( 2b ) + 3a( x ) + 3a( 2b ) = 6ab

=> x² + 2bx + 3ax + 6ab = 6ab

=> x² + 2bx + 3ax = 6ab - 6ab

=> x( x + 2b + 3a ) = 0

Hence,

x = 0

Or, x + 2b + 3a = 0

Or, x = - 2b - 3a

( x + 3a ) ( x + 2b ) = 6 ab
=> x( x + 2b ) + 3a( x + 2b ) = 6ab
=> x( x ) + x( 2b ) + 3a( x ) + 3a( 2b ) = 6ab
=> x² + 2bx + 3ax + 6ab = 6ab
=> x² + 2bx + 3ax = 6ab - 6ab
=> x( x + 2b + 3a ) = 0

by zero productrule
Hence,
x = 0
Or, x + 2b + 3a = 0
Or, x = - 2b - 3a
