 \frac{x}{6}  -  \frac{2x}{7}  =  \frac{1}{21}  +  \frac{x}{7}  \\ l.c.m \:  = 42 \: so \: multiply \: both \: sides \: by \: 42 \\ 7x - 12x = 2 + 6x \\  - 5x = 2 + 6x \\  - 5x - 6x = 2 \\  - 11x = 2 \\ x =  -  \frac{2}{11}

ans:

x/6-2x/7=1/21+x/7

(7x-12x)/42=(1+3x)/21

-5x/2=1+3x

-5x=2+6x

-11x=2

x=-2/11
