We get x = 8, on solving for x in the equation.

[(x+6)/4] - [(5x-4)/8] + [(x-3)/5] = 0

Multiplying both sides by 40, we get:

10(x + 6) - 5(5x - 4) + 8(x - 3) = 0

⇒ 10x + 60 - 25x + 20 + 8x - 24 = 0

⇒ 10x - 25x + 8x = -60 - 20 + 24

⇒ - 7x = -56

⇒ x = -56/-7 = 8

⇒ x = 8
