x/9+y/7=10
7x+9y=630...(1)

x/3+y=50
x+3y=150....(2)

now equ. (2) multiply by 7

7x+9y=630
7x+21y=1500
- - -
12y=870
y=72.5

eque.(2)
x+3(72.5)=150
x+217.5=150
x=-67.5

Hiii friend,

X/9 + Y/7 = 10

7X + 9Y/63 = 10

7X +9Y = 630......(1)

X/3 + Y/1 = 50

X + 3Y/3 = 50

X +3Y = 150......(2)

From equation (1) we get,

7X + 9Y = 630

7X = 630-9Y

X = 630-9Y/7.....(3)

Putting the value of X in equation (2)

X + 3Y = 150

630-9Y/7 + 3Y = 150

630-9Y + 21Y/7 = 150

12Y +630 = 150 × 7

12Y + 630 = 1050

12Y = 1050 -630

12Y = -420

Y = -420/12 => -35

Putting the value of Y in equation (3)

X = 630-9Y/7 => 630 - 9 × (-35)/7 => 630+315/7 = 945/7

X = 135.

Hence,

X = 135 and Y = -35

HOPE IT WILL HELP YOU...... :-)
