solve √x=x-2 in quadratic equation

√x=x-2

squarring bothe side we get

x=(x-2)^2

x=x^2-4x+4

x^2-5x+4=0

x^2-4x-x+4=0

x(x-4) -1(x-4)=0

(x-4) (x-1)=0

x=4,1
