x + y = 5 ....................(1)
x - y -1 = 0
⇒ x -y = 1........................(2)
x + y = 5
x - y = 1
NOW we can cancel y from both equation and we will sum x with x and 5 with 1
2x = 6
x = 6/2
x = 3
NOW we put this value of x in (1)
3+ y =5
y = 5 -3
y = 2
x - y -1 = 0
⇒ x -y = 1........................(2)
x + y = 5
x - y = 1
NOW we can cancel y from both equation and we will sum x with x and 5 with 1
2x = 6
x = 6/2
x = 3
NOW we put this value of x in (1)
3+ y =5
y = 5 -3
y = 2
