Let,x+ y=8-----(1) and x-y=2---(2)
Eq(1)+eq(2),2x=10
x=5.
Substituting x=5 in eq(1),
5+y=8
y=8-5
y=3.
Therefore,x=5,y=3.
Eq(1)+eq(2),2x=10
x=5.
Substituting x=5 in eq(1),
5+y=8
y=8-5
y=3.
Therefore,x=5,y=3.

x =y + 2 put value of x in first equation
so, y + 2 + y = 8 by solving
2y = 6, then y = 3
put value of y = 3 in equation second, then x - 3 = 2...by solving
x = 5
then answer is x = 5 and y = 3
so, y + 2 + y = 8 by solving
2y = 6, then y = 3
put value of y = 3 in equation second, then x - 3 = 2...by solving
x = 5
then answer is x = 5 and y = 3
