X+y=2xy. -------1equation
x-y=6xy. ---------2equation

2x=8xy

2x/8x=y

1/4=y

Put the. Value of y in 1equation

x+1/4=x*2*1/4

(4x+1)/4=x/2

8x+2=4x

8x-4x=-2

4x=-2

x=-1/2..
hope it help's u....

x+y/xy=2

x+y = 2xy ---------------(1)

x-y/xy=6

x-y = 6xy ---------------(2)

Adding 1 and 2

x + y + x - y = 2xy + 6xy

2x = 8xy

y = 2/8

y = 1/4

Putting value of y in 1

x+y = 2xy

x + 1/4 = 2x/4

4x + 1 = 2x

4x - 2x = - 1

x = -1/2
