\frac{xy}{x+y}  =\frac{6}{5}  ......(1)

\frac{xy}{y-x}  =6 .....(2)

Now in (1)

5xy=6x+6y

divide both sides by xy

5=6x+6y/xy

5=6x/xy+6y/xy

5=6/y+6/x

Take 1/x=p  and 1/y=q

5=6q+6p

6p+6q=5............(3)

Now in (2)

xy=6y-6x

divide both sides by xy

1=6/x-6/y

Take 1/x=p and 1/y=q

1=6p-6q....................(4)

adding (3),(4)  we get

p=1/2

q=1/3

x=2  y=3
