honesty is the best policy because an honest man never cheats to someone else and can be trusted by everyone because if you are honest everyone can trust you. a short story to show this is honest woodcutter .In this story one woodcutter was cutting woods at the coast of sea .Immediately his axe fell into the sea . suddenly one goddess came from sea along with one golden axe and asked him that is it your axe , the woodcutter said no . then again the goddess jump into the sea and came back after some time along with silver axe and asked him is it yours ' he said no then again she jump into the sea and came back along with his real one iron axe he said this is mine the goddess was pleased by his honesty and gave him all the three axes .
