Solving linear equation using rule of transposition: [1x3=3]

(1) 3 (5x-2) – 4 (x+4)= 7 (x-1) + 1​

Answer:

3 (5x-2) – 4 (x+4)= 7 (x-1) + 1

15x-6 - 4x-16 = 7x-7+1

11x - 22 = 7x-6

11x-7x= -6+22

4x = 16

x = 4
