i)NUTRIENT MANAGEMENT
Nutrients are supplied to plants by air,water and soil.Air supplies carbon and oxygen.hydrogen from water nutrients from soil.Deficiency of these nutrients affects physiological processes.
ii)MANURE AND FERTILISERS.
Manure contain large quantities of organic matter.It is prepared by decomposition of animal and plant wastes. These enriches the soil. Compost and vermi compost .It enriches the soil by decomposing waste material is called compost .fermi compost is decomposing by earthworms by firm mixing of soil.GREEN MANURE.some plants are grown and then munched by ploughing them.These plants turn into green manure which enriches soil in nitrogen and phosphorus.
FERTIZERS:It is the commercially produced nutrients which supply nitrogen,phosphorus and potassium.
iii)IRRIGATION:Maost agriculture in India are rain fed.which are in certain .so to overcome that we use water resources like wells,canals,tanks,river lift system,building small check dams.
iv)CROPPING PATTERNS:Mixed cropping is growing two or more crops simultaneously on the same piece of land.This reduces risk and failure of one crop.Crops are selected such that the nutrients and requirements are different.This helps in maximum usage of nutrients and also prevent from pests.CROP ROTATION:The growing of different crops on a piece of land in a pre planned succession.Availability of moisture and irrigation decide the choice of the crypto be cultivated.THIS IS THE END OF EXPLANATION.
