Hey!
1. To build their Self-esteem
2. To express the social norm of school, parents or the environment they live in
3. To show their superiority, social dominance. That brings a sense of fun in humans. OUR brains are designed to feel good in the moment if we see or behavior as showing or assertive people the RIGHT WAY even though it is harmful.
4. They don't see BULLYING as Hate. Hate towards anyone non- confirming.
5. Those children who believe themselves as more capable physically, mentally, or socially, tend to bully more than others.
6. There is no over arching system to punish the behavior to inculcate a sense of fear and reward for doing Helpful behavior.
Hope it helps!
