some drinks are sold at a funfair. 3/5 are the cans of green tea. 1/10 of the drinks are packets of orange juice and the rest are cans of lemonade. there are 102 fewer cans of lemonade than greentea. how many drinks are there altogether?

please kindly help me solve it...​

Answer:

Total number of cans = x

Cans of green tea = 3x/5

Packets of Orange juice = 1x/10

Cans of lemonade = 1 - (3x/5 + 1x/10) = 1x - 7x/10 = 3x/10

No. of cans of lemonade + 102 = No. of cans of green tea  

3x/10 + 102 = 3x/5

(3x+1020)/10 = (3x)/5

(3x+1020) (5) = (3x) (10)

15x + 5100 = 30x

15x = 5100

x = 5100/15 = 340

Total number of cans = 340 //
