SYNTHETIC FIBRES:Synthetic fibres are small units of chemicals joined together in a firm of chain. The chain is called polymer. Poly means more and mer means units. Thus polymer means made of many units joined together. Types: Rayon, Nylon, Polyster, Acrylic.
PLASTICS:plastics are the polymers of long carbon chain. Plastics that are heated and melted easily are called thermoplastics. Ex:PVC polythene,nylon,etc......
