3 . Metals are malleable ( Zinc , Arsenic , Antimony are exceptions  )
4 . Metals are ductile ( Zinc , Arsenic , Antimony are exceptions  )
5 . Metals are sonorous
NON-METALS :-
1 . They are generally brittle solids or liquid at room temperature ( Carbon , Silicon
, Boron are exceptions )
2 . Non metals do not have lustre ( Iodine , Graphite are exceptions )
3 . Non metals are non-malleable.
4 . Non metals are not ductile ( Carbon fibre is an exception )
5 . Non metals are not sonorous.
