Fermentation results in formation of carbon dioxide which causes the pack to get puffed
If the juice is fermented then the sugar in it will be change into alcohol

The process is known as fermentation.

It is the process in which there is some chemical changes in substrates ( organic) by the action of several enzymes leading to the production of alcohol.

Juices contain sugars like glucose, sucrose, etc. that get fermented to alcohol

and carbon dioxide( as a by-product) in the presence of yeast.

Hence, it destroys the juice and makes it unfit for consumption once it gets fermented.
