In water raisins will more in size
This has to do with osmosis. Water will go from low sugar concentration to high sugar concentration. Since the raisin is a dried grape it will have a high sugar concentration, so if it is put into water without sugar it will take up water and swell. But if the water around the raisin contains sugar then it all depends on the concentration difference.

AMAN2611: Please explain it
blaze01: it is not from lower concentration to higher concentration its higher concentration to lower concentration

Hey friend !!!

The raisins increase in size in the beaker with water....

That's because of the phenomenon Endosmosis....

Hope this helps you :)
