Some of the chemicals that make up living organism have only few structures (like dna) other have many different structures (like proteins). Why might this be the case?

because the structural and functional unit of DNA called genes which makes the proteins and the DNA have only the function related to protein Formation and genetic information transfer

but the proteins have many function than DNA like regulatory, enzymatic, proteins play role in almoda every reaction in body. so may be the structure is related to the function as pet have many function it should haveany structure
