some people think that democracy produces less effective govt. This is because rulers of non democratic govt, like the kings or dictators , do not have to worry about deliberation in assemblies. neither they are answerable to the citizens . but , democracy is all about discussions and negotiations. A govt that takes decision hurriedly, may also take wrong decisions. Since democracy comes to a conclusion only after debates and discussions, its decisions are both acceptable and effective. therefore , democracy produces a RESPONSIVE GOVT.
