Hello friend!
Heres ur answer!
In this This extract, the poet SAROJINI NAIDU says that the bangle sellers possess some purple and gold coloured bangles for a middle aged woman. These bangles are suitable for a mother who has cherished, loved, blessed and cradled her son's and for a wife who takes care of her household with pride and sits at her husband's side while worshipping. It is in the last stanza that one comes to know that the maiden turned bride has now experienced all the aspects of being a woman. Therefore this stanza has the air of pride etched in it. The specks of grey ads the touch of maturity that comes with age. She's not only a motherwhose greatness and glory is stressed but an equal partner in the maintenance of family relationships.
