Some questions i have confusion in.... (please reply with full method) 1. the marked price of a water cooler is $4650. the shopkeeper offers an off-season discount of 18% on it. find its selling price. 2.the price of a sweater was slashed from $960 to $816 by a shopkeeper in winter season. find the rate of discount given by him. 3.a tea set was bought for $528 after getting a discount of 12% on its marked price. find its marked price. 4.a dealer marks his goods at 35% above the cost price and allows a discount of 20% on the marked price. find the percent of his loss or gain. 5. a dealer bought a refrigerator for $11515. after allowing a iscount for 16% on its marked price, he gains 20%. find the marked price of the refrigerator.

1. mp=rs 4650
sp = ((100-d%) / 100) *mp
((100-18) / 100) *4650
=rs 3813

2. mp=960
sp = 816
d= mp-sp
=960-816
=rs 144
dicount percent = dicount/mp *100
=144 / 960 *100
= 15%

3. mp= (100/82)*528
= rs 643.90
