Yes, I agree, as he did many things for Kashmir. He was a liberal and a far sighted ruler. He adopted the policy of religious tolerance towards Hindus. He banned cow slaughter, abolished Jazia on Hindus and gave higher position jobs to them.

Zainul Abidin got Mahabharata and Rajatarangini translated into Persian and Arabic. He also got Arabic classics translated to Sanskrit.

Abidin issued copper and silver coins. Like Alauddin Khilji, he introduced control over market and prices. He also imported items which were in shortage, like salt from Ladakh. He encouraged many crafts like, shawl and carpet weaving, stone cutting and polishing in order to develop the state economy and employment to all.
