Solution:

p(x) = x3 + 2x2 - x -2

one answer is -2

it means that (x+2) is a factor of p(x)

divide (x+2) by p(x)

you got x2 -1

so it means that

p(x) = (x+2)(x2-1) = x3 +2x2 -x-2

p(x) = (x+2)(x+1)(x-1)

the zeroes are

1) (x+2)= 0

x=-2

2) (x+1) = 0

x= -1

3) (x-1) = 0

x=1

zeroes are 1/-2,-1 and 1

I hope this will help you.
