hi mate
vectors are the quantities which have direction and magnitude and which obeys the laws of vector addition .
scales are those which have only magnitude but no direction. and it does not obey the laws of vector addition.

Scalar and vector both are physical quantities .

Vector quantity has both magnitude as well as direction whereas scalar quantity has only magnitude.

Scalar quantity can be expressed using simple algebra but for vector we need to use vector algebra
