someone kept an experimental setup in sunlight for sometime he then observed a large number of bubbles of gas escaping into the inverted tube he then tranferred it to a shady place what do you conclude through this experiment

I think the question is a bit incomplete....if after putting the setup in a shady place, bubbles don't appear that means a process is happening because of sunlight...hence we can conclude some reaction is taking place which is using sunlight to produce some gas....if the gas happens to be oxygen then it could be photosynthesis but it could other reaction also.
