Tan theta=sin/cos

it is given

that

5cos=6sin......1)

sin/cos=5/6

so tan theta=5/6

now from 1)

sin =5/6 cos

so,

12sin-3cos/12sin+3cos

=

[12×5/6(cos)-3cos]/[12×5/6(cos)+3cos]

=10cos-3cos/10cos+3cos

=7cos/13cos

=7/13
