Hey Mate,

Let the original salary be 100

After decrease of 20% ,

New Salary = 100 - 20/100×100 = 80

Now value to increase = 20

So,

Per cent new = 20 / 80 × 100 = 25 %

Hence, Percentage = 25 % ANS ✔️

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

let the salary be 100

it is decreased by 20%

=100-20=80 is the decreased salary

25% must be added

so 80*(25/100)=20

80+20=100

so answer is 25%
