Explanation:Well, it's a day when I went my college back after finishing my Engineering. Before get in to I will just give quick background. I am from eastern part of Tamil Nadu. I did my graduation in one of the top most prestigious institute in Chennai. So it usually take me 10 hours travel from my native. After finishing my graduation there is a need to submit No Due(certificate in order to get my Transfer Certificate).
One fine mid of July I went to college to get done the procedures for No Due. Before going to college, I informed friend of four years (who stayed near my college, say X) that I will be coming for so and so work, if you are free we can meet. She happily agree that we will meet for sure.
When I reached college, I informed her that I will call her. After finishing my work, I called her.
Me: calling…
X : didn’t picked up my call.
I thought her phone might be in silent mode. After half an hour wait I called her again and again. She didn’t picked it up. I was frustrated. I wait for another one hour. She didn’t pick it. Unfortunately my phone got switched off.After few minutes, friend of mine ( present room mate of X) came . I told her to call my friend X.
She: calling (hand over the phone to me).
Before the second ring she picks it up the call
X: why did you called me?(she think it as heer roommate).
Me:It's me Mythili. Whether are you coming or not? I am waiting here nearly one and half hour.
X : Hmm..No. I am busy now. I will go college next week. You finish your work. And stay tonight somewhere. Tomorrow I need to go for shopping. No one is here to accompany me. So we will go tomorrow.
Me: No ma(like dear). I need to go home because there is a function tomorrow.So I will leave tonight itself.
X: Okay. As you do.
Me:Okay
***Cuts the call***
Then one more my friend(say Z) with whom I didn’t share much but a good friend came.
Z: Hai. How are you? How long its been to talk with you?
Me : hai. Am doing good.
***We literally teases each other***
Z: Then what's your plan
Me: I said I was waiting for X. And she is unable to reach here. So I need to go for NSR(National Skill Registry) verification in so and so place.
Z : Are you going alone?
Me : Well, yes.
Z: Okay I am coming. Don’t go alone. You will get bored.
Me: But you said you are going your relative home.
Immediately she calls her mom and told her to wait and tells she have some work. It's a sunny day. Without any expectation she accompany me. She was so exhausted even though she didn’t complain me about anything.After finishing verification, we send to college again to bid good bye to some of my friends. As soon as I went to my faculty cabin, one more my friend says your friend(X) came and leaves just now. She says that why you hesitate to ask me to accompany. She says”Just remember one thing in your life, I will always be available for you even though I have loads of work”. I understood that time, who is my best friend. Even now if I plan to go to Chennai, She is the first person whom I told I have a plan.
