Answer:

Almost all medications are injected into a vein.

Explanation:

When we inject a medication (antibiotic, anesthetic, blood pressure control), the goal is to have that medication reach the entire body. When we inject it into a vein, the medication returns to the heart before reaching any of its targets, and the heart then pumps it to the entire body. While in the blood in the heart, the medication distributes evenly in the blood so there is a constant blood concentration of medication. If we inject a medicine into an artery, the medicine reaches only the parts of the body that receive blood from that artery. That would result in very high concentrations of medication in one place, but very low concentrations in the rest of the body.

Answer:

veins transport blood from other parts of the body to heart.

whereas

arteries transport blood from the heart to other parts of the body.

So in order to act on the target spot the injection is given in veins
