 \huge \color{lime}ANSWER :

Let at present mother's age is x and son's age is y years.

10 years ago their's age were x-10 and y-10 respectively. But as per questions, x-10 = 3(y-10)

Or, x-3y = -20 ……….(i)

Again after 10 years , their's age will be x+10 and y+10 respectively. But as per questions.

x+10 = 2(y+10)

Or, x-2y = 10 ………(ii)

By solving, we get y = 30 and x = 70

Ratio of their present age =

Mother : Son = 70 : 30 = 7 : 3
