Given : Principal = 8000, Time period = 3 years, Amount = 9200

We know,

Simple interest for 3 years = Amount - Principal

                                            = 9200 - 8000

                                            = 1200

$SI = \frac{PRT}{100} \\1200 = \frac{24000R}{100} \\R = 5$

New interest = (5+2)%

                     = 7%

$SI(new) =\frac{PRT}{100} \\= \frac{8000.7.3}{100}\\= 1680$

New Amount = SI(new) + PRINCIPAL

                       = 1680 + 8000

                        = 9680

She would get 9680 rupees.
