Dimensions of Cake= 40cm × 36cm ×8cm

∴Volume of Cake =  l x b x h

                             = 40cm × 36cm ×8cm

                            =11520 cm3

Dimensions of cake eaten by each child= 8cm × 6cm × 4cm

∴Volume of cake eaten by each child= 192 cm3

∴No. of children that attended the party = No. of cakes eaten= Volume of Cake ÷Volume of cake eaten by each child

=11520 cm3 ÷ 192 cm3 = 60 children

Thus, 60 children attended the party.
