If Sonu's mother gave him  Rs 2 then,he will get Rs 0.75 in return.

If his mother gave him Rs 5 then, he will get return Rs 3.75

Step-by-step explanation:

Cost of 1 chiki=Rs 0.75

Cost of 1 toffee = Rs 0.50

Sonu's mother gave her money=Rs 2

If Sonu buys one chiki and one toffee then,

Sonu bought items of money=Rs 1.25

Subtract the cost of bought items from total rupees  Rs 2

He will get money in return=2-1.25=Rs 0.75

If Sonu's mother gave him=Rs 5

Subtract the cost of bought items from total rupees Rs 5

Then, sonu will get money in return=5-1.25=Rs 3.75

Hence, if sonu's mother gave him Rs 5 then the shopkeeper will return Rs 3.75.
