Sorters are the ones who sort the wool from the infected animals that are infected by the disease, their job is very risky as they might get infected by a bacteria, Anthrax, which caused fatal blood disease called sorter's disease. Inhalation anthrax is commonly called woolsorters' disease.

Anthrax is also called splenic fever, Cumberland disease, malignant oedema.

As this is the disease caused while working it is called an occupational hazard.
