no,because the speed of light is 3*10^8 m/ s whereas sound is 330m/s

No budy light is faster than sound because light has speed of 3×10^8m/s and sound has variable speed. In air sound jas speed of 340m/s .
I think the answer should be that light travels in straight line whereas sound can travel in all directions. Tht is why.
But your question was wronge and now u have written some thing else in the question
