therefore equation is
p²-8p+1=0
by quadratic formula

D=b²-4ac
D=( -8)²-4x1x1
D=64-4
D=60
NOW. p= -b+-rootD/2A
P=(8+-root60)/2
p=(2root 2 +-2root15)/2. [because we factorise 60,,,and 8]
p=(2root2+2root15)/2.
p=(2root17)/2
p=root17
