2. Rahul lends rupees 250p to Raj and a certain sum to Aaryan at the same time 7% per annum simple interest. If after 4 years , Rahul altogether receives rupees 1120 as interest from Raj and Aaryan , find the sum lent to Aaryan.

3. The simple interest on a certain sum for 3 years at 8% per annum is rupees 96 more than the simple interest o. the same sum for 2 years at 9% per annum. Find the sum.

Let the sum lent of c be X

now according to question

$: \implies \sf \: \frac{2500 \times 7 \times 4}{100} + \frac{x \times 7 \times 4}{100} = 1120$

$: \implies \sf2500 \times 28 + 28x = 112000$

$: \implies \sf2500 + x = 4000$

$: \implies \sf \: x = 4000 - 2500$

$: \implies \sf \: x = 1500$

so therefore our required answer is 1500
