More than 1 Million people displaced due to floods in Kurnool and MahboobNagar District.Overflow of Tungabhadra, Krishna and Handri rivers caused major damage to life and properties of Kurnool people.Kurnool town on Friday night was in the imminent danger of being completely submerged. Flood water in Kurnool town is more than 10 feet deep in serveral places. Many people died in kurnool town and surrounding villages. The state government has started relief work today but too little is being done to such a catastrophe. This is the worst flood in the history of Andhra Pradesh.
