But, his preference to focus more on his routine work brought him only limited results. Though he is now holding a management position; but his grouch is growing on being treated at par with rest of peer crowd and gap is widening with his earlier 2 peers.

First of all, getting/ coming in the limelight means getting recognized by a lot of people. For anyone to be in the limelight, a specific level of hard-work or good deed is needed. A success story propels a person to be famous, but no one seemed to think about the years of toiling that it requires. Behind every success story is a story of perseverance, resilience, and unconditional sacrifice. Likewise, if a person wants to be in the limelight, he has to achieve great success. To do that, he has to make sacrifices, give up his freedom and even learn to like what he doesn't normally love. And once all the pain and endurance is done, success will definitely come along the way, one way or another. And at that time, the limelight is all yours, with everyone envying you for what you've achieved. So remember, hard work pays off, but it comes with a price.
