Answer:
Crackers are of no use they are just environment abuse.
Let this diwali burn all your bad times, not our nature. This diwali lets fill our minds and homes with lights and flowers not explosives and fumes. Earth has enough problems already we don’t need to create another. So, avoid crackers. This diwali lets minimize harmful gases and maximize love and happiness. Few moments of happiness with crackers at the cost of nature, fellow beings, is it really worth it. Instead plant a tree it will do a lot more benefit than crackers. Imagine if plants gave off wifi signal we would be planting so many trees we would probably save the planet too. Too bad that they give off the oxygen that we breathe. Feel the responsibility we are our mother earths only hope. Let us leave the earth a better place to give our children a green future. Diwali is all about the gleam of diyas, echo of the Vedic chants, paying respects to the almighty. Not smoke crackers explosion and pollution.
Diwali is known as the Festival of lights.
- It especially means awareness of the inner light which has the power to outshine the darkness.
- On this special occasion, people decorate their house with diyas, rangolis and they exchange sweets and gifts, wear a new dress, burn crackers, and do poojas.
- Burning crackers cause a lot of air pollution in the environment which in turn affects the health of people. So it is important to increase the awareness of celebrating an eco-friendly Diwali.
We can celebrate eco-friendly Diwali in the following ways:
- Reducing the number of crackers decreases the air and noise pollution in the environment. For a healthy alternative, we can shift to green crackers which have smoke emission reduced to 35%, or totally cut down crackers.
- Reducing the usage of electricity is also important. We can use diyas made of clay to light every corner of our house, instead of using LED lights. It represents tradition, positivity and it symbolises the power of truth over evil.
- Reducing the usage of plastic is vital for a healthy environment. Using flowers or any biodegradable alternatives instead of some plastics for decoration is better.
- Practicing the principle of 3R's: Reduce, Reuse and Recycle to reduce the amount of waste produced during festivals helps us to save mother earth.
Let's pledge to go green and stop acting mean. Nature wants an eco-friendly Diwali.
