Global Warming occurs as a result of increased concentration of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. The main greenhousegases are water vapor, carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide and ozone. These gases do now allow all the radiations from the Earth to escape back info space. This is known as the Greenhouse Effect. This trapped radiation or heat helps to keep the Earth at a constant temperature. Greenhouse effect is thus very important to main the temperature of the Earth at a habitable level.Over the past few 100 years, human have been burning trees and fissile fuels, thereby releasing millions of tones of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. The increased level of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere has caused the temperature of the Earth to rise. This, in turn, causes more water to evaporate into the atmosphere. Water vapor is also very good at absorbing heat. This cause the Earth’s atmosphere to become even warmer. Scientist has called this effect ‘Global Warming’. They have warned that Global Warming could shift rainfall patterns, raise the sea level and alter the ecological balance.Temperature changes vary over the globe. Since 1979, land temperatures have increased about twice as fast as ocean temperatures (0.25 °C per decadeagainst 0.13 °C per decade) etc. .....

A very warm good morning to one and all present here . Today , the topic of my speech is quite interesting and motivating too. Our mother Earth can not do it all . so , let's give her a rest . We all need to try and do what is best . so , today the topic of my speech is global warming and it's effects.

science, science and science means development , development and development. we all had heard this word before but when we see that this invention not only disturb our planet but another planets too. Global warming is also an reward given to us by science .

Do you think is our mother Earth really happy today ?

I doubted because of the increasing global temperature on the Earth's surface . Today, glaciers are melting , sea levels are rising , dense forests are dying and wildlife is crumbling to keep pace.

And as an alarming fact it has been estimated that the average global temperature on the earth surface is going to rise a little further from 1.1 to 6.4 °C . All of these are the researches of the organisation , industrialization , overpopulation and so on. Extreme heat causes hundrends and thousands of death every year . Around the world , in the recent years Antratica has been losing 100 billion matrix tons of ice per year since 2002 . If it will keep melting and we kept burning fossil fuels and allowing sea levels to rise then from next 50 to 150 years , what will happen that way ?

How can we go over the changes that have already settled to motion ?

so , as an global citizens we can take some simple measures to stop this .

  • By using 3 golden R's - Reuse , reduce and recycle .
  • By using public transpotation .
  • we reducing the emisson of green house gases from the atmosphere .
  • By growing more and more trees.
  • By using solar energy instead of electrical enery .
  • By stop doing deforestation .

and so on.

Our mother is precious and can ' t be replaced , we need  to act now otherwise our homes will be erased .

So  , let's all of us join our hands together to save our life saving and life giving mother earth . Maybe today , our small efforts seem small but surely in future these small efforts will brought a drastic change that will be helpful for our life saving and life giving mother Earth.

Thank you !!!
