Life is full of twists and turns. Everyone has to struggle here in this world to conquer every hindrance in the way to success. For this hard work is obligatory. Without working hard and just by sitting idle it will be hard for one to get success. Since from childhood and till now I always remember the sentence that my parents used to tell me “To be a better person in life and to get success you have to work hard, the result of hard work is always rewarding, so you have to work hard.” There is a well known proverb “no pain, no gain” hard work never goes wasted. Although it may be later or sooner success comes to your feet. “One percent inspiration, 99 percent perspiration”—Edison’s definition of genius has often been quoted to characterize success as well. Even before Edison, the rigors of success were described by painter Michelangelo thus: “if people knew how hard I had to work to gain my mastery, it wouldn’t seem wonderful at all.” I’m a greater believer in luck, and I find the harder I work the more I have of it.

Farmers work hard in their fields from the sowing of the seeds, planting, watering, and caring for the crops. All their hard work is rewarded by bountiful harvests. Success is something that someone has to work hard for to accomplish in every aspects.

Hard work gives us the opportunity to improve ourselves. Hard work will help us develop self-discipline and focus on our goals. In turn we will become more efficient and productive. We are constantly improving our skills and developing new ones as we work hard.

Procrastination, laziness, and counting on luck will bear no fruits in our life. Hard work is the only key to achieving our aims and ambitions in life. The secret of successful students, businessmen, and sportsmen is hard work.

Hard work teaches us discipline, dedication and determination. Hard work is never wasted and reward will come sooner or later. Those who work hard will be crowned with accomplishment because their efforts will never go in vain.
