Hard work and perseverance is a tool to success. In the poem “Wind” the poet tries to signify that we must make ourselves strong to face adversities in life . He signifies it by saying by making firm houses , firm doors and steadfast hearts and minds then the wind would be friends with us that is we will be able to embrace the adversities in life which will make us strong and lead us to the path to success. Also at the end of the poem the poet says that the wind blows off the weak fires that is the adversities will make drastic effects on people those are weak . Also at the end it says that the wind makes strong fires roar and spread that means it makes people with headstrong mind become more stronger after facing the adversities.
