When you are in middle school you can not wait to be in high school. You can not wait to grow up and have your own life and independence. It is very true when people say that high school is the best the four years of your life. During high school you meet so many new people, from all walks of life, and from all over the world. You will love some of them, but others not so much. During your four years in high school you will fall in and out of love, lose and gain friends, and make too many memories to count.

When you walk through the doors for the first time when you’re a freshman you are nervous, scared you’re trying to stay out of the way of everybody. But after about the first week you start making new friends, and you are not so nervous anymore. When you are a freshman you grow closer to your friends because you do not really know many people in your school yet. Your sophomore year will be kinda like your freshman year just older and more memories will be made.

When you become a junior you are no longer considered a under classmen. You look back and can not believe that you only have two years left. By now you have way to many memories to even count. This year you can now attend Prom and it will be one of the biggest highlights of your junior year. When you are a junior you start to look at colleges and wondering if you will be with some of your friends when you have to take the leap of faith that is leaving home and starting a whole new chapter in your life.

Now that you are a senior its seems like the day that you first walked through those doors are just months ago, but really it has already been four whole years. This will be the best, but also one of the saddest years of your life. You are excited that you will be graduating, but you will be leaving a family that welcomed you with open arms for four years. You are sad that your leaving behind some of your closest friends, and hoping that you will not grow apart. It starts and seem like it will take forever to reach the end, but before you know it you are saying your goodbyes to the people that you grew up with, and going different directions to start your own life.

When you look back you will thank your school that has become your home for the last four years. You will look back on the happy times and cry, but you will also look back on the sad times and laugh. But you notice that these have been the best four years

of your life, and no one will ever be able to replace the memories that you have made. When you receive your diploma you see that you are finally done. The last thing you do is say goodbye. I believe that high school is truly the best time of your life.
