Maintaining cleanliness in school is crucial because school shapes the character and personality of every student.

It is from school that they imbibe the good values and life lessons.

So teachers should instill the importance of cleanliness in the minds of the students from a tender age.

Keeping the classroom clean, throwing waste materials in the dustbin, not using plastic, washing the hands properly before and after the meals, wearing neat and clean uniform, not scribbling in the walls of the classroom, benches or washroom are some common ways by which cleanliness can be maintained in school.
