GOOD MORNING, RESPECT TEACHERS AND MY DEAR FRIENDS. TODAY I (your name) STAND BEFORE YOU ALL TO SPEAK ON TGE TOPIC 'INDEPENDENCE DAY'

'Give me blood and I will give you freedom!'

Often these words echo in our ear. Independence day is one of the most important days India has ever day. It was the 15th of August, 1947. India finally became independent on this day after the massive struggle and fight. But this independence was not so easy to get.

Freedom fighters like Bhagat Singh, Mangal Pandey, Rani Lakshmi Bai, etc lost while their lives trying to win freedom for us. One of the most important leaders of the freedom struggle was Mahatma Gandhi. His non cooperation movement and his Swadeshi movement became very successful though at that time they were very much exploited and I'll treated by the British

After all the battles and wars and loss of lives India finally became independent. The British fled from our country. Jawaharlal Nehru became our first prime minister with Dr. Rajendra Prasad as the president. Though the British had taken many riches from India people were happy to get the independence.

WE SHOULD ALL BE VERY PROUD OF OUR FREEDOM FIGHTERS.
