India got independed at 15th August 1947 .So at that moment Lord mountbatten selected the day as luckeiest day .From that period of time to today we observing the day is our independence Day .. The main reason for observing this day is to remember or rememorise the efforts of our freedom fighters because today we get independent for their struggle , efforts ...In our country in many places we observing this day with pomp and grandeur ... The prime minister of India hoist the national flag at Lalkilla everyear.After then a vast pareed take place showing the talent of our Army Airforce and naval academy..All this cultural activities take place in New Delhi . In India we observe this occasion with pomp and sense besides all cast section .. All Indians get together below the national flag (triranga) then song the national song (janaganamanaadhii) .The flag is tricolour ; orange,white ,green ..
