Music is important for life. People need music to entertain themselves. Music is known as universal language.Culture of a society means its ideas, customs and art. There is a correlation between music and culture, in that music is a distinct, diverse subculture within a given culture. Each musical era offers its own code of values, social forms, and material traits much as a culture does. Whether it is the  chants of the Middle Ages or the music of today's jazz culture, music is both an expression of the times and a personal and intimate expression of the singer. We can say music is a part of our culture.
