First of all, what's natural resources?

=> We know what are resources. Resources are valuable sources which we need in day to day life. Now you can understand what's a natural resource. It's a type of resource which exist in nature without any humankind action on it.

Ok so.. it's necessary to conserve natural resources because of the following reasons :-

• yes natural resources are for us. We need them in our daily life. But that doesn't mean we will keep wasting them (¬_¬). You probably know that natural resources are depleting day by day and this is because excessive use of natural resources.

• natural resources include forests, water, soil, fuels, minerals etc. We already know it's importance. Don't you? XD forests are the lungs of the earth. Without trees, we can't survive at all.. water is life. Fuels are so important.

• Humans are so selfish. Isn't they? :P they care only about theirselves. We must also think about our next generation. Natural resources aren't any unlimited resource that we'll keep on using and it won't finish. So we must use it in an intelligent way so that our generation can take it's benefit too..

Now ways to conserve mineral resources :-

⏩ Minerals are non-renewable resources means they can't be replenished. Use renewable resources such as solar power and hydroelectricity can save coal.

⏩ By recycling, reusing we can conserve mineral resources. This is will help to minimize the wastage of mineral resources.

⏩ Using modern methods in mining also helps a lot. In ensuring minimal wastage of minerals.

⏩ substituting minerals is also a great method. We can substitute minerals which are in large amount in place of minerals present in small amount.

Answer:

"I don't want to protect the environment, I want to create a world where the environment doesn't need protection."

*Salutation*

Conservation and Preservation both relate to the protection of nature. Conservation seeks sustainable use of nature whereas preservation means protecting nature from human use.

What we fail to realise is these resources have an integral role in our social and cultural lives. Moreover, no country can achieve proper development without natural resources.

Hence in this world of ever growing population, preservation is not a viable option.

Today, sustainable development also cannot save our ever depleting resources. It's time we find alternatives for our present resources. For change is the law of nature and its time we find a reliable solution; for we have only one planet that we call home.
